The quality isn't great, but it's not had much post-production on the DVD itself.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This track caught my attention and I spent quite a while tracking it down from the lyrics. (Well before the DVD was out.) According to a thread on SongFacts it's a tribute to Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This track can be purchased on iTunes US as well as MSN Music US. Despite being a technocrat ...</title><content type='html'>&lt;strong&gt;Podcasts and all that&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Despite being a technocrat I didn't jump on the podcast band wagon too early on. I thought it was about time I did!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Podcasts are essentially free subscriptions to get mp3s. Those mp3s may be single tracks, radio shows, comedy shows, or a combination. Ok, so...</title><content type='html'>&lt;B&gt;Almost Famous Uncut DVD - Small Time Blues&lt;/B&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ok, so I bought the Almost Famous director's cut because it comes with quite a lot of extras.  Most of them are great. This is the track leading into the end credits as William begins his interview and Russell says "To begin with... everything.."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To confirm it wasn't on the OST I checked on Amazon, and someone has kindly listed ALL the tracks from the movie. An example being when Penny is taking William through the Hyatt with the Zepplin fan and he stops to hear a couple singing "Please stay, I wanna hear you play.." and if you can hear it, the words that follow are "..small time blues". I seem to ha...</title><content type='html'>&lt;strong&gt;It's a Girl Thing ~ by My Life Story&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I seem to have a habit of liking obscure tracks from movies or TV. One such track is &lt;em&gt;It's a Girl Thing&lt;/em&gt; which featured in the opening credits of Teachers Season 2 (UK Channel 4 drama). Finding the actual track was relatively easy with such lyrics as "&lt;em&gt;She removed your name from the speed dialer screen. And now you don't exist yeah cos it's a girl thing&lt;/em&gt;". Buying the track was harder. iTunes and the like are pretty useless for anything out of the ordinary.
